Hedon

DAYBED. From the greek philosophy of hedonism, an evocation of form that reflects pleasure; a 2-part concept based on the impulse of pleasure to be endless, articulated with powder coated steel in a form of a mobius strip. The bentwood strips that seemingly overshadows a dweller using the space reflects the intimacy of pleasure.

Mirror and Decor

Joy locket mirror; a symbol of filipino sentimentality that reflects the love within a family's home. The Habasha Pots; instead of an additive approach to an object, the cuts rendered on the surface reflects the process of elimating the uneccesary to create a solid form.

About Us

THE TEAM:

Headed by Emmanuel Joseph "EJ" Tan Pasia, a Metrobank MADE Awards finalist, a graduate of architecture from Ateneo de Davao University and SoFA Design Institute Furniture Master Class, focuses on sustainable design. Each piece of design whether it be a piece furniture or a massive multi-storey structure embodies a philosphy based on our brand values. The DAFT approach; it may be a silly method to follow but for the team, its serious business. For Us, its an abbreviation of being a DEPENDABLE Design, ARCHITECTURAL in form, always a FUN experience, and forever TIMELESS. These values, help create a painstaking take on each product we put out.

THE PLACE:

We operate in a mezzanine showroom and studio, located at the heart of the city, showcasing our furniture collection as well as interior furniture design packages for different developers within the Philippines with Fixed Design Bundles for a more affordable approach to having a customized space. The studio also caters to their prime service, which is architectural design, mostly commercial, hospitality and residential projects around the country. The team also handles design + build Services.

THE FUTURE:

We will soon be available worldwide through our furniture line, and soon the company will be focusing on sustainable land development to further streamline the approach to creative DAFT design.

THE PHILOSOPHY:

At DESIGN EJ PASIA we believe design should be approached from an abstract view, and apply a process that unfolds a story and helps reflect a certain code of values that in turn, accompanies an effortless layering of images that binds together an enhanced vision of space.
